Celebrated New Year’s Eve at a hotel in a small village surrounded by trees and nature. The staff lit mosquito repellent incense before we arrived, which showed that they cared about the guests' wellbeing. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the bustling street with local BBQ food and a short ride to the beach.
The washroom was always wet and humid, and there was no shower curtain, which made the whole place feel damp all the time. Another downside was the lack of drainage in the toilet area, which caused the water to seep to the adjacent kitchen area, making it very unpleasant.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in several areas. First, the staff were incredibly friendly and professional, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. Second, the rooms were quiet and spacious, providing a comfortable retreat. I especially appreciated the terrace, which allowed me to cook my own meals if I desired. Lastly, the inclusion of a motorbike was a fantastic bonus, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.
The only minor aspect that could be improved upon was the cleanliness in the kitchen area.

The hotel facilities including a swimming pool and a mini refrigerator in the kitchen added to the comfort of our stay. The best part was the free scooter provided by the hotel, which made it super easy and convenient for us to explore nearby attractions. The staff was very friendly and approachable, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Our stay at Nora's Place in Panglao was exceptional. The location was perfect for those seeking a peaceful getaway, away from busy touristy streets. We loved that it was only a short 10-minute walk to Alona Beach, the main dining and bar area. The staff provided excellent service and were very friendly, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We appreciated the complimentary motorbike, although we had a slight issue with the rear tire, the staff promptly replaced it for us. Despite minor drawbacks, such as the sound of the AC and some cleanliness issues, we would definitely come back to Nora's Place for another relaxing stay.
